When you call the Acadia Family Center you will speak to a friendly, understanding, staff member who will ask you brief questions and answer any that you may have. After making sure that our services are appropriate for your circumstances, you will be scheduled for a two-hour assessment.

After your initial assessment with an Intake Specialist, you will be assigned a Counselor whose areas of expertise are appropriate to your specific needs.

Individual and Family counseling appointments are usually once per week for one hour (in some cases, longer or more frequent appointments may be appropriate).

Group counseling sessions are usually once per week for 1.5 hours. Our office hours are Monday–Friday 9am–6pm. We make every effort possible to schedule appointments at a time most convenient for you. Our various Group Counseling sessions are usually late afternoon or early evenings.
